The rise and fall of Frank Crummey, Intelligence Officer
Frank Crummey lived largely in the shadows, first gathering intelligence for the IRA, then after the Treaty for Michael Collins. He sat on government committees, north and south, and tried to recruit Catholics for the Specials. But he was finally interned, then forced into exile south of the border.
